Each entry begins with positive, practical, and easy to understand instruction on how to face the particular issue confronting our spiritual life. Then, to further emphasize the teaching from a different perspective, there is given sinister and enticing counsel seemingly designed to undermine our spiritual life. The hope is that by also giving this ill-advice we can more clearly identify the sinister "voices" of the Flesh, World, and the Devil and react in a manner pleasing to the Lord.
